A Brief Peek into the Chess Scene in America using Data Science!

I’ve been playing since I was around 2 years old thanks to my dad. Won some state and nationals tournaments. Coaching chess now and doing my master’s in computer science. Worked for a year after undergrad as a software engineer in the data science division. Been concentrating on machine learning, deep learning, and data science, so hopefully below I can provide you with some interesting insights.

I answer questions like:

  1. Has chess seen an increase in popularity?
  2. What’s the rating distributions of chess players?
  3. Where should a chess player live to improve?
